A small electrical fire damaged a downtown Boise business Thursday morning, according to Boise Fire Department.
Three fire engines and a truck responded to a report of an electrical fire on Dunkley Music’s roof at 410 South Capitol Boulevard around 6:40 a.m., according to Greg Ramey, battalion chief.
Crews were able to control the flames within three minutes and the fire only affected the outside of the building, Ramey said.
No one was hurt and damage was minimal, with no impact to the structural integrity of the building, he said.

Capitol Boulevard near Myrtle was closed for about 45 minutes while crews worked to knock down the fire, Ramey said.
Dunkley Music, a business that sells and rents out musical instruments, is in the process of moving to a new Meridian location. The store is set to close in Boise on Aug. 1 and open in Meridian on Aug. 10.
The cause is still under investigation.
