Investigators are still working to determine the cause of a fire in the home of a man who was thought to be trapped inside.
Dispatchers received calls at 10 p.m. Sunday from neighbors who reported that the homeowner was inside the burning home, said Tammy Barry, spokeswoman for the Boise Fire Department. However, when fire crews arrived on scene and extinguished the fire they found no one inside. Authorities were still searching Monday morning for the owner of the home located in the 4400 block of East Flores Court in southeast Boise.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation said Lynn Hightower, spokeswoman of Boise Police Department. No injuries were reported.
Crews extinguished the flames in the garage and the bedroom on the second level of the house in about 15 minutes, Barry said. No other area of the house was damaged during the fire.
