Two Eagle residents died Thursday evening in a one-vehicle crash in Oregon Thursday evening, and Oregon State Police are investigating.
Caleb E. Lynn, 22, and Danielle Shea, 42, were dead when emergency crews arrived on the scene shortly after the crash, OSP reports. Both were ejected from the Chevy Tahoe, and by Friday evening investigators had not determined who was driving.
OSP received a report of a westbound reckless vehicle traveling at high speed with no headlights on U.S. 20 west of Burns shortly after 8 p.m. Thursday, according to a state police news release. Minutes later, the vehicle crashed.
Investigators believe no seat belts were in use at the time of crash, and alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor, OSP reports.
