A Boise man died Saturday after crashing his motorcycle on Highway 21 near Idaho City, according to Mike Johnson, Boise County chief deputy coroner.
Ralph D. Mick, 55, of Boise, was driving a motorcycle south on Highway 21 at about 7:30 p.m. He attempted to pass another vehicle around mile marker 30, but went off the road and crashed into Mores Creek. He died instantly, Johnson said.
Initial investigations show Mick had a blood alcohol level of .24.
“Speed and alcohol was definitely a factor in this accident,” Johnson said.
