A family rafting excursion on Indian Creek Monday night hit a snag when the raft flipped and stranded four children, ages 2 to 14, on an island, Boise Fire Department and Ada County officials report.
The accident happened around dusk in the creek near Stagecoach and Luker roads, officials said. Crews brought the kids to the creek bank in the dark, the sheriff’s office reports. No one was injured.
The father swam to shore and called for help. Officers from the Kuna Fire Department, Boise Fire Department and Ada County Sheriff's Office all responded and took part in the rescue.
