One man and a teen were arrested after a reported home invasion Tuesday night near the 28000 block of Canal Road, according to the Canyon County Sheriff’s Office.
A woman reported the incident around 7:30 p.m. She told law enforcement two men wearing masks and brandishing rifles came into her home and told her to get on the ground. She was able to flee the house, call 911 and provide a detailed vehicle description, according to the sheriff’s office.
She was not injured.
Jacob Gibney, 18, of Boise was arrested and charged with burglary and robbery. The other suspect, a 17-year-old, was sent to a juvenile detention center and also charged with burglary and robbery, according to the sheriff’s office.

The woman did not know the men arrested, according to the sheriff’s office. Investigators are determining whether the suspects were connected to other residential burglaries.
