The Ada County Coroner released the names of the man and woman who died Monday morning in a crash at West Gowen and Pleasant Valley roads.
James Frontino, 62, and his wife Rosanne, 59, both died at the scene of the accident. Frontino died of blunt force trauma and Mrs. Frontino died of asphyxiation, Coroner Dotti Owens said in the report.
A semi-trailer carrying sand and gravel appears to have rolled and landed partially on the Frontino's pickup truck. The semi driver, from Boise, was not injured.
The semi was driving north on Pleasant Valley Road and was turning east onto Gowen Road when the truck rolled. The pickup appears to have been eastbound on Gowen Road.
