A pickup truck and a woman on a bicycle collided in a crosswalk at Front Street and 8th Street Downtown about 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, Boise police report.
The bicyclist, a 52-year-old Boise woman, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries, police said in a news release. The pickup driver, 24-year-old Gabriel Diaz of Caldwell, was cited for failure to yield, police said.
The woman was riding eastbound on Front when she entered the crosswalk, which is not controlled by a signal, police said. Diaz, driving north on 8th, stopped and then proceeded into the intersection, colliding with the bike.
The bicyclist was not wearing a helmet, police said.
