TOK adds Emmons
Angie Emmons has joined the research department of Thornton Oliver Keller Commercial Real Estate.
Emmons brings five years of experience in customer service. She will assist with the tracking of more than 80 million square feet of commercial real estate in Idaho. She joins the firm’s research department, which writes and distributes the biannual Market Watch and monthly Market Review newsletter, as well as monitoring and compiling daily market changes and statistics.
Emmons holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Boise State University.
Architects chapter elects Weersing
Sydnee Weersing of Glancey Rockwell & Associates has been elected secretary/treasurer for the American Institute of Architects, Idaho Central Section Chapter.
Candidates for secretary/treasurer are nominated by members of the AIA community and elected by Idaho Central Section members.
Weersing joined Glancey Rockwell in 2012, A University of Arizona graduate, her designs focus on a holistic practice of architecture.
Weersing is an active member of the American Institute of Architects and U.S. Green Building Council Idaho Chapter. She is NCARB certified and is a LEED AP BD+C design professional.
Her design experience includes signature residential homes, infill developments, historic renovations and multi-use developments.
Two at Prudentialget CRS designation
Kelly Exline and Jane McCorkle of Prudential Idaho Realty have been awarded the Certified Residential Specialist designation. Realtors who receive the CRS designation have successfully completed advanced courses and demonstrated professional expertise in the field of residential real estate. Only 3 percent of realtors nationally hold this designation.
Exline has 27 years of sales experience and holds an associate broker license with Prudential Idaho Realty, where she has been a full-time, top-producing agent for the past 12 years.
McCorkle has been a full-time realtor with Prudential for 11 years and a top producer for the past nine years. Other designations she has earned are Accredited Buyer Representative and Graduate, Realtor Institute.
Her earlier career was in education, and she holds a master’s degree in reading education.
Anderson joins Colliers real estate
Jamie Anderson has joined the team at Colliers International, a full service commercial real estate firm, as an office specialist. Before joining Colliers’ Idaho offices, he served as regional sales director for HumanScale and regional vice president for Enterprise Holdings.
Alliance Title helps combat hunger
Alliance Title & Escrow Corp. collected 32,019 pounds of non-perishable items during its “Close the Hunger Gap” food and fund campaign. In addition, it raised $19,403.88 to benefit the Idaho Foodbank and members of their partner network.
Of that total, $7,415 and 3,825 pounds of food (25,432 meals) went directly to the food bank in Boise. Another $580 and 751 pounds (2,366 meals) went to the Pocatello branch.
The rest will be allocated to food bank partners across the state.
During the “Close the Hunger Gap” campaign, participating Alliance Title branches donated a portion of their revenue for the month of October to the food bank and members of its partner network.
