Dave Cook and Jesse Cook have joined the staff of Boise brand agency Oliver Russell.
Dave Cook is creative director. His portfolio includes design, branding, advertising and interactive work for clients including Blue Cross of Idaho, the Cleveland Browns and Indians, Alcoa, Hewlett-Packard, Simplot, Lucky Bums Outdoor Gear for Kids, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Create Common Good.
He has won national creative awards and promotes nonprofit causes. He has received the Silver Medal from the American Advertising for Community Service and the Governor's Brightest Star Award for service and volunteerism.

Jesse Cook comes from Ocean Media in Huntington Beach, Calif., where he was a digital media planner and buyer. He will focus on digital marketing.
Oliver Russell, a Boise-based brand-marketing firm founded in 1991, is a certified B Corporation, part of a movement to use the power of business to help solve social and environmental issues.
Hanna & Associates, a Coeur d'Alene marketing communications firm, has earned a national award in communications excellence from the American Gaming Association. Hanna won "Best Television" for its work with the Kalispel Tribe and Northern Quest Resort & Casino's Q-Cash program.
Hanna & Associates was founded in 1977. The American Gaming Association is a trade association for the casino industry.
Boise State University and the University of Idaho were named Innovation and Economic Property Universities, two of 16 public institutions across the country that are working with public and private sector partners to support economic development through innovation, entrepreneurship, technology transfer, talent and workforce development, and community development.
The list was released by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities.
"The fact that both Boise State and the University of Idaho received this designation shows just how integral higher education is to the state's economic success," Boise State University President Bob Kustra said.
"There's only one way that universities, private industry and the government can work to lead Idaho's economy into the future - and that's together," added Boise State Vice President Mark Rudin, head of the Division of Research and Economic Development. "We're proud of our strong and growing partnerships with small and large businesses across the state and region, and we're committed to taking an active leadership role in building and sustaining all sectors of Idaho's economy."
Boise State said examples of its collaboration include:
Engineering students and professors working with St. Luke's Health Systems to improve care for children with physical disabilities and to eliminate infections in orthopedic surgeries.
The university's computer science department partnering with Idaho companies to leverage a state grant to double Boise State's annual graduates in the field.
A group of graduate students in the College of Business and Economics responding to Gov. Butch Otter's recent request to find ways the state can capitalize on Wal-Mart's hope to shift up to $50 billion of manufacturing from out of the country to the states.
Tracy Pettinger, an Idaho State University clinical associate professor of pharmacy, has completed a multicenter clinical trial of the new medication Onglyza for patients with Type 2 diabetes.
Pettinger collaborated with Blackfoot Medical Center in the clinical trials. The study, conducted through Bristol-Meyers Squibb and AstraZeneca, was a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled trial that involved 16,500 patients in 25 countries with Type 2 diabetes who had a history of established cardiovascular disease or multiple risk factors, with or without renal impairment. The clinical trial study was led by the academic research organizations Thrombolysis In Myocardial Infarction Study Group and Hadassah University Medical Center, and was conducted at more than 700 sites worldwide.
The medication is indicated as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with Type 2 diabetes. As of June, the drug had been submitted for regulatory review in 95 countries and was approved in 86 countries including the United States, Canada, Mexico, India, Brazil and China.
Gary Michael, retired chairman and CEO of Albertsons Inc., was appointed to a vacancy on the Idaho Lottery Commission by Gov. Butch Otter after the August death of longtime commission Chairman Roger Jones of Glenns Ferry. Michael will serve the balance of Jones' unfinished term, which runs until January 2017.
Otter appointed commission member Mel Fisher as chairman. Fisher, a Boise attorney, has been a member of the Lottery Commission since June 2003 and is serving a term that extends to January 2018. He had been vice chairman.
Michael retired from Albertsons in June 2001. The Montana native and University of Idaho graduate started his career with the supermarket giant in 1966. He has been on a number of corporate boards, including Boise Cascade and Idaho Power, and on such nonprofit organizations as Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. Michael also served on the 12th District Federal Reserve Board and remains a member of the J.A. and Kathryn Albertson Foundation board of directors. He was interim president of the University of Idaho from June 2003 to July 2004.
Tom Snodgrass has been named vice president of System Solutions for Micron Technology.
Snodgrass will be responsible for managing the System Solutions business, which focuses on delivering enterprise-class solutions to the market using Micron NAND flash and DRAM memory.
Snodgrass brings to Micron 30 years of technology experience in various senior management roles, including the past 13 years managing storage solutions at PMC-Sierra. He served previously as vice president of engineering at AANetcom, ATI and Tseng Labs before joining PMC-Sierra. He also worked in various technical roles at AT&T, Honeywell Defense Systems, McDonnell Douglas and AT&T Bell Labs.
Snodgrass holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from Purdue University and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Missouri.
Jeremy C. Ouchley has joined MWI Veterinary Supply Inc. as vice president and general counsel.
Ouchley served as business unit counsel for McKesson Corp. from December 2010 to September 2013. Previously he worked at U.S. Oncology Inc. and practiced corporate and securities law with Baker Botts LLP.
Ouchley received his law degree with from the University of Texas School of Law in 2002 and his bachelor's of business administration degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1998.
