The Albertsons grocery company that is headquartered in Boise is selling a new store brand, the “Signature” line.
The brand includes more than 4,000 products, ranging from food to household items.
A media representative for the company did not say whether the new line replaces another Albertsons brand, such as the Essential Everyday product line, or say why the company decided to create a new product line this year.
Albertsons owns 2,268 stores under more than a dozen grocery banners, including Albertsons and Safeway. It has 37 stores in Idaho. The new product line is sold at all stores.
