For the sixth year, Boise Woodcraft is inviting the public to come to the shop for a "turn-a-thon" event to make high quality, wooden pens for men and women serving overseas.
Last year's turn-a-thon churned out 1,200 pens, said Monte Eldfrick, Woodcraft owner.
Volunteers will be on hand from 8 a.m.-6 p.m., Saturday at the shop, 6883 W. Overland Rd., Boise. For more: 338-1190.
