Boise’s City Hall West hosts “Turkeys for Eagles,” Friday, the effort of a local Boy Scout, Trent Johnson of Scout Troop 318, to collect turkeys and funds for the Idaho Food Bank -- and earn his Eagle badge in the process.

The collection is happening until noon on Friday in the City Hall West parking lot, 333 N. Sailfish Place. If you can’t make it there by noon, you can drop a turkey off at Fairly Reliable Bob’s from 1 to 4 p.m., 2304 W. Main St., in Boise.

Turkey collection continues on Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Centennial High School, 12400 W. McMillan Road, Meridian, and Saturday, Nov. 14, at Lowell Scott Middle School, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 13600 W. McMillan Road.
