MERIDIAN - A 13-year-old boy was riding his bicycle near Ten Mile Road and Cherry Lane at about 5 p.m. Monday when he was struck by an older white minivan.
The Meridian Middle School student is recuperating from a concussion, broken arm and bruising, Meridian police Chief Jeff Lavey said.
The driver was described as a light-skinned female, between 40 and 45 years old with short dark brown hair. If you have information, call 888-6678.
® Boise police are looking for a driver that ran into an older male riding a bicycle at 1:47 p.m. Friday.
According to Boise Police Department spokeswoman Lynn Hightower, the motorist was driving east on Emerald Street and turned right onto southbound Cole Road, hitting the bicyclist. The rider complained of some hip pain, but was not transported to a hospital.
