BURLEY - The Cassia County Sheriff's Office says the plane took off from Burley Municipal Airport and hit power lines at about 10 a.m. Wednesday. Investigators say the victims - student pilot Kim Paulsen of Klamath Falls, Ore., and instructor Chris Butler - were taken to the hospital and treated for injuries.

The plane, an amphibious Republic Seabee built in 1946, suffered extensive damage.
