Hunter, 1, is a German shorthair pointer mix, maybe with a little beagle in there too. Hunter is well-behaved. He listens well to his name, shows promise of being house-trained and is a real love bug. He doesn’t seem to have beagle bay but he does use that nose. Hunter is an active breed and will benefit from daily walks and explorations around the neighborhood. He isn’t a water hound but on hot days he enjoys beating the heat with a dip in the water trough. He has reached his peak size at 44 pounds and is a low rider GSP mix. He is a nice and compact size that would fit in with most any family.
Hunter is in Dog Adoptions at the West Valley Humane Society, 5801 Graye Lane in Caldwell. The hours are Monday through Saturday 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For more information on other adoptable pets visit www.westvalleyhumanesociety.org
