Chula, 1, is a 53-pound spayed female American pit bull terrier-Labrador retriever mix. She appears to have had some training early on in her life. She can sit, down and come. She also walks well on a leash, rides nicely in the car and is crate-trained. Chula is a bit timid and under-socialized and will need exercise and additional training. At this time loud noises and unfamiliar environments seem to make her nervous, so she would do best in a relatively quiet home with older, respectful children.
Chula (#31501623) is in kennel 325 at the Idaho Humane Society, 4775 Dorman St. in Boise. The shelter is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. seven days a week. You can learn more and see other adoptable pets at idahohumanesociety.org.
