Gilligan, 9, is a neutered male Chihuahua who’s found himself at the rescue, through no fault of his own, and searching for a nice low-key retirement home.
He did well on the lead though he tends to straggle behind a bit, liking to set his own sedate pace. Gilligan is reportedly good with dogs, cats other animals and children of all ages.
He enjoys lap time with the volunteers. He’s reported as kennel-trained and has been very quiet, even with all the activity at the rescue.
To meet Gilligan, visit the Meridian Valley Humane Society at 191 N. Linder Road in Meridian or call 794-0944. The hours of operation are 11 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. For more information visit www.meridianvalleyhumanesociety.org
