Ada County Pet of the Week: Biggie the Greyhound mix

Biggie, 7, is a male black, Greyhound mix. Biggie may not be a puppy anymore, but don’t be fooled by his age — he is still strong and athletic. He will require an owner who is equally strong and athletic who can provide lots of vigorous exercise. He’d be a great dog to hit the trails with for runs or bike rides. Biggie is smart, but doesn’t seem to have been taught much and does pull on the leash. Investing in an obedience class will be well worth it. Training is important for all dogs, but is especially important for large, strong dogs like him. Biggie is treat motivated and will be easy to work with. He also loves toys, so be sure to stock up on some. A home where he can live indoors as a part of the family will be best.
