Jax, 3, arrived at the rescue from a shelter in California where, reportedly, he got into a fight at least once with another dog so a dog-free home would be best for Jax. He also spent some time in a temporary foster home where he met cats and did well. His history concerning house- and crate-training is unknown but he does keep his kennel at the rescue pretty clean.
Jax can be a little cautious around new people, and because of his hesitance a home with no small children might be best. Once Jax gets comfortable in his environment, though, he wants to play and get loves.
