Boise Open Studios Collective Organization (BOSCO) Weekend, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Oct. 4-5. Fall arrives in earnest in October. Nights turn frosty, the moon looms full and low in the sky, and pumpkins begin to pop up on door steps everywhere.

And there are more than a few ways to celebrate the season in the Treasure Valley, from community festivals, scary mazes and Oktoberfests, to Ballet Idaho's debut to country diva Reba McEntire.
