An incentive for Idaho businesses to let you have a gun at work
- STATESMAN STAFF
BOISE - The Idaho House will vote on a bill to give employers immunity from lawsuits if they allow their workers to keep firearms in their cars. "This affects hunters and those who carry guns for personal safety," said Rep. Jeff Thompson, R-Idaho Falls.
Barbara Jordan of the Idaho Trial Lawyers Association said the bill, House Bill 287, was unnecessary, poorly worded and may actually expand liability to employers who ban guns.
