Steven Laurino threw for 195 yards and two TDs, John DiLulo and Matt Weidemer each scored twice and Boise topped Caldwell 51-30 in a high school football game Thursday at Bronco Stadium.
The Braves (5-4, 2-3 5A SIC) wrapped up their first winning season since 1993.
Weidemer had 105 yards on the ground, while DiLulo scored on a 78-yard run and a 24-yard pass from Laurino.
Caldwell quarterback Bryce Hughes threw for 230 yards and two TDs to lead the Cougars (0-9, 0-4). Neither team qualified for the playoffs.
SKYVIEW 18, COLUMBIA 14
Skyview quarterback Sam Cook threw a 27-yard touchdown pass to Clayton Cooley in the fourth quarter, capping the Hawks' rally over 4A SIC rival Columbia. Karsten Robison rushed for 102 yards and a touchdown for Skyview (3-6, 3-4 SIC). Spencer Hall ran for 124 yards and two TDs to lead Columbia (2-7, 2-5). It was the season finale for both teams.
NAMPA 28, EMMETT 16
Mahonri Bostrom scored three rushing touchdowns as the Bulldogs beat Emmett in a 4A SIC game. Nampa (8-1, 6-1 SIC) is headed to the state playoffs. Cory Holm had 10 catches for 145 yards and two TDs for Emmett (1-8, 0-7).
GARDEN VALLEY 58 GREENLEAF FRIENDS 8
The Wolverines clinched the District Three 1A eight-man Division II title with a win over Greenleaf Friends.
RIMROCK 60, WILDER 14
Rimrock running back Ricardo Araujo ran for 357 yards and five touchdowns as the Raiders beat Wilder in a 1A eight-man Division I game. Cody Schiermeier added two TDs for Rimrock.
