Senior running back Jackie Williams ran for 81 yards and two touchdowns to lead Borah past Rocky Mountain 16-7 in a 5A SIC high school football game Friday night. Daniel McSurdy added 97 total yards and Abraham Naway rushed for 82 yards for the Lions. Marcus Wood passed for 111 yards and a TD to lead Rocky Mountain.

COEUR D'ALENE 27, CALDWELL 7

Coeur d'Alene quarterback J.J. Turbin threw for 196 yards and three TDs to lead the visiting Vikings. Cougars quarterback Bryce Hughes threw for 224 yards, including a 6-yard TD pass to Sid Archer that gave them a 7-6 lead in the third. Justin Goodwin returned the ensuing kickoff 81 yards for a TD.

PAYETTE 16, MCCALL 6

Damian Reynolds ran for 129 yards and Payette defeated McCall-Donnelly in a 3A SRV game that did not produce an offensive score. McCall scored its TD on an interception return, while first-place Payette got its points off a safety, a 70-yard punt return by Brad Pollock and a 35-yard fumble return by Matt Allison.

WEISER 35, HOMEDALE 18

Senior tailback Trent Winegar ran for 194 yards and Spencer Chandler added 91 yards and two TDs as Weiser defeated Homedale in a 3A SRV game.

MIDDLETON 22, COLUMBIA 20

Senior running back Erik Foreman ran for 202 yards and a TD and the Vikings used a late safety to edge Columbia in a 4A SIC game. Hayden Walters ran for 125 yards for Columbia, including a 59-yard TD that tied the game 20-20 in the fourth quarter. Minutes later, however, a bad snap rolled into the end zone and forced Columbia to take a safety, giving the Vikings the game-winning points.

PARMA 15, NAMPA CHRISTIAN 3

Lance Johnson ran for 89 yards and two TDs and Parma used a stingy defensive effort to beat Nampa Christian and move into a tie for first place in the 2A WIC.

NOTUS 44HORSESHOE BEND 42

Ryan Vibert rushed for 146 yards and three TDs as the Pirates rallied from a 24-6 halftime deficit to beat the Mustangs.
