1. NAMPA CHRISTIAN: One of the potentially pivotal games of the season is the Oct. 3 game between last year's co-conference champions Nampa Christian and Parma.

The game will be played this season at Parma, and is part of the reason why the Trojans have one of the toughest schedules in the league.

In addition to its road game against Parma, Nampa Christian also hits the road against 3A Homedale and Spring Creek, Nev. Spring Creek's size is the equivalent of a 4A school in Idaho.

The Trojans also play conference games at New Plymouth and Cole Valley Christian.

2. COLE VALLEY CHRISTIAN: The biggest challenge to the Chargers' schedule is the fact that they don't have a true home field - Cole Valley plays its games at Meridian High. The Chargers also have scheduled nonconference games against Payette (Aug. 29), Butte County (Sept. 6) and Winnemucca, Nev. (Sept. 12).
