Eagle girls beat Boise for Treasure Valley Lacrosse League title
Eagle High completed an undefeated season by beating Boise 11-10 in overtime to win the girls championship of the Treasure Valley Lacrosse League on Tuesday night at Rocky Mountain High.

The Timberline Wolves, who started league play 1-7 and were seeded seventh in the District Three tournament, defeated Coeur d'Alene 6-2 to win its fifth 5A baseball state championship Saturday at Memorial Stadium.

The Eagle girls and Rocky Mountain boys collected 5A state track and field team championships Saturday at Eagle High.

The Skyview Hawks were runners-up in the 4A baseball state tournament at Bishop Kelly High, losing to undefeated Bonneville 5-4 via Chance Reese's go-ahead RBI double in the sixth inning.

Snake River (3A), Grangeville (2A) and Potlatch (1A) won state baseball championships Saturday in the Treasure Valley. After falling in the first round, Rocky Mountain won the 5A consolation title.
