Coby Karl leaving Idaho Stampede for Spanish team

The Idaho Stampede will be without their leading scorer Friday night when they take on the Colorado 14ers at Qwest Arena.

Coby Karl, who leads the Stampede with an average of 18.6 points and 5.5 assists per game, has agreed to a contract with a professional team in Spain.

Karl, who starred at Boise State and spent last season with the Los Angeles Lakers, expects to be in Spain by Sunday and playing for his new team next week.
