"A is for apple/B is for butt/C is for cat butt ..." The hilarious title track on Kimya Dawson's "Alphabutt" is destined to be a new favorite car sing-along for hipster families. Ditto many of the other 14 folk ditties on Dawson's first release since her high-profile appearance on the "Juno" soundtrack. Funny and tender, her left-of-center songwriting is a natural fit with children's music, whether she's singing about animals, poop or animal poop.
