Reserve tickets for the 2007 Yellow Pine Harmonica Festival will go on sale Jan. 7.

The festival will be held at the Pancake and Christmas House in McCall Feb. 1 and 2 during the 2008 McCall Winter Carnival.

Advance ticket reservations will be sold exclusively through Idaho First Bank, based in McCall.

The 2007 Yellow Pine Harmonica Festival was originally set for August in Yellow Pine, but raging forest fires forced its cancellation.

The venue at the 2008 McCall Winter Carnival is a one-time occasion, said Steve Holloway, event coordinator.

"We are already in the planning stages of next summer's contest in Yellow Pine," Holloway said. "This one during Winter Carnival is a way for our local businesses to make up for lost ground. We hope, by offering our music to a whole new audience, it will help build our summer event for years to come."

Tickets are $20 for both days and may be reserved by phone by calling (208) 630-2025 or going to Idaho First Bank on Dienhard Lane in McCall.

KMCL radio, Mountain Air 101, will have tickets available to winning listeners through an on-air promotion during the week of the Winter Carnival.
