Join first lady Lori Otter at a free red carpet screening of “Destination Idaho,” a film by award-winning filmmaker Karen Day that explores the Gem State through its people, places and history. Go on a 2000-mile road trip to the state’s most interesting and unknown places, including the highest waterfall and the deepest canyon in the Lower 48. You’ll hear from some of Idaho’s best-known cultural figures and athletes and see Day’s 3-minute short about Kristin Armstrong, “Because I Can,” which recently won the inaugural short film competition at Geena Davis’ Bentonville Film Festival in Arkansas.
