Best known for the ever-present drink in his hand and the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” that made him famous, comedian Ron White is one of the more genuine performers on the planet. “I drink too much Scotch, probably,” he told the Idaho Statesman years ago. “But it’s not an act.” White is funny at least partly because audiences feel like they know the guy on stage. “... You watch me perform, I don’t push at all,” White said. “I just let ’em come to me, and just tell them the truth.”
