The annual Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is in full swing at Ann Morrison Park. One of the highlights is the family-friendly Nite Glow bash, which starts at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 5. 2. GO TAILGATE
The drama-packed Washington Huskies-Boise State Broncos football game on Friday, Sept. 4, is sold out, but flat-screen TVs and grills will be blazing in the parking lot outside Albertsons Stadium. Kickoff is at 8:15 p.m. Wanna get an early start? Hit up the season kickoff bash from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at the Boise Spectrum.

Noooooo! The final summer-event day at Bogus Basin is Saturday, Sept. 5. Enjoy the beautiful weather and scenery by hopping on the Deerpoint Chair from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. An all-day pass is $25. Single rides are $10. Live music will fill the air from 1 to 7 p.m. at the amphitheater. And you can dine at Simplot Lodge between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.
