Ringo Starr is headed to Boise.
The rock ‘n’ roll icon announced tour dates today for his Ringo Starr’s All-Starr Band, including an Oct. 6 stop at CenturyLink Arena. It’s his first Boise stop since a sold-out show in the same venue in 1999.
Starr has a new album, “Postcards from Paradise,” due in stores March 31. That record will be his first “including a song written and recorded by Ringo and his current All-Starr Band - Steve Lukather, Todd Rundgren, Gregg Rolie, Richard Page, Warren Ham and Gregg Bissonette.” (Not a bad backing band, eh?)
Ticket information for the Boise concert is expected to be released March 18. I’ll update in the morning.
Never miss a local story.
Tickets will be $35, $55 and $75 and go on sale at 10 a.m. March 27 at CenturyLink Arena.
