Concert rumor-mongering never gets old, and I tossed one out there a couple of weeks ago that I now need to squash: It doesn’t look like Irish singer-songwriter Hozier is coming to Boise after all. At least for now. It did look likely. But then his popularity exploded, tour routing changed and the final cards didn’t fall into place.
Motley Crue, on the other hand? I’d lay down money that the ’80s bad boys are headed to the Boise market this summer. There’s been no announcement, but the buzz is out there. I’m confident that it’s gonna happen. (More confident than I was about Hozier, if that means anything.) The Crue show also includes Alice Cooper on the bill.
Train is known for hits "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)," "Hey, Soul Sister" and "Drive By.” The group still includes core members Pat Monahan and Jimmy Stafford.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Jan. 24 at LiveNation.com.
