What the — ? A Utah company called Slide the City plans to set up a 1,000-foot water slide on South Protest Road between Boise Avenue and Federal Way on Saturday afternoon. High school football is here! Capital faces Madison at 1 p.m. Saturday at Dona Larsen Park in Boise. Capital, the defending 5A SIC champion, returns five starters on both sides of the ball including quarterback Conner Poulson, who has offers from Idaho and Idaho State. Madison was the 2012 5A state champs before dropping to 3-6 last year. Feeling more like baseball? The Boise Hawks are thinking playoffs while hosting Everett and Salem-Keizer this weekend.
