If you watch TV news in the Treasure Valley, you're familiar with Tami Tremblay.
She anchored at KTRV Channel 12 from 2008 to 2010 before joining KBOI Channel 2. Most recently, she was a weekend anchor at KIVI Channel 6 and KNIN Fox 9.
On Friday, Tremblay officially completed the Boise market TV rotation: She made her debut at KTVB Channel 7, where she anchored the 10 p.m. news.
Never miss a local story.
"KTVB is beefing up its investigative team, and Tami is a familiar face to the Treasure Valley," says Doug Armstrong, KTVB's president and general manager. "She has an impressive resume of investigative stories. Tami will also join the night team as a reporter and serve as weekend anchor Friday-Sunday, co-anchoring Saturdays with Justin Corr."
Since I haven't reported it previously, it is worth noting that morning anchor Scott Evans and reporter Jamie Grey recently left KTVB for jobs in Midwestern markets.
As you've probably heard, "Good Morning Idaho" weather forecaster Bri Eggers will leave the show next month for a job in Boston. It's a big jump — from the country's No. 110 market to the No. 7 market.
Management is not ready to announce Eggers' replacement, but I'm told there's a plan in place. In the meantime, "Good Morning Idaho" has expanded its programming. Beginning today, the show added a third hour from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. on Fox 9. That's in addition to its normal time slot from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. on Channel 6.
