After a burst of cultural growth and the addition of several public art pieces to the city’s collection, the Boise Department of Arts and History is embarking on a public process to plan its future.
The purpose of the plan is to take stock of where we are today, and create an outline for a cohesive vision for future cultural development by engaging the community in a civic dialogue.
What is culture? Where do you find it in Boise? What Boise cultural experiences have worked for you? What cultural experiences have not worked? What would you like to see in Boise in the future?
You can get involved in the discussion by attending a public focus group at Boise City Hall, 150 N. Capitol Blvd., in the 3rd floor River Room. Discussions will last about 90 minutes.
