Deadline: July 21: The Boise Department of Arts and History is seeking five to eight contract artists for exterior projects at the Boise WaterShed. Artists working in exterior murals, steel fabrication, mosaic and other related mediums are encouraged to apply. The selected artists will be on contract for projects that will be assigned at a later date. Project budgets total $24,500.
The Boise WaterShed is a LEED certified building that houses an educational center with a focus on environmental issues related to water and sustainability.

Deadline: Aug. 1: The Nampa Public Library is looking for a Treasure Valley artist to create an art installation for its new building’s three-story feature wall. The call is open to all artists working in any visual medium. The budget is $28,500, including supplies and installation costs.
This will be the library’s first commissioned public art installation for the project and future art installations in the library will reference it. The library is expected to be completed November 2014, with the feature wall art installation in place.
