The 2014 Culinary Walkabout, a benefit for Metro Meals on Wheels, drew more than 700 people to the Boise Centre for the annual strolling dinner served up by some of Boise's best chefs, and coordinated by Chefs de Cuisine, the Boise chapter of the American Culinary Federation.
This year it raised more than $25,000 to help feed home-bound seniors and others in Ada County, says Grant Jones, who directs the program. Metro Meals on Wheels prepares, delivers, and serves more than 800 meals each weekday.
