About Dan Popkey
Dan Popkey has been with The Idaho Statesman since 1984. He's covered the Idaho Legislature since 1987. In 2007, Dan led the Statesman's coverage of the Sen. Larry Craig sex scandal, which was recognized as a Pulitzer Prize finalist. He has a bachelor's in political science from Santa Clara University and a master's in journalism from Columbia University.
