Meridian local business owners and professionals are invited to the second Meridian Business Day at City Hall, 33 East Broadway, beginning at 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10. It's free.
Meridian Business Day 2 will focus on education, networking, and business growth. More than a dozen area business professionals will share their outlook on the local economy and offer advice on how other businesses can survive.
"We had a tremendous response with the first Meridian Business Day, and we look to continue the dialogue with our area business owners and professionals," said Meridian Mayor Tammy de Weerd. "This event offers our business community the chance to hear from local experts about how they are adapting to change in today's economy, while discussing strategies to capitalize on the positive growth opportunities that exist in our community."
A panel discussion leads off the event, followed by workshops on the changing economy, marketing, small business outlook, and financial strategies to cope with current economic conditions. Featured speakers and businesses include Ron Price, Dan Long, Vengaventures, T-Sheets, and Tricycle among others. The event will wrap up at 2 p.m. after a networking luncheon catered by local Meridian restaurants.
