Innovative achievements in Idaho business and technology will be recognized Oct. 29 at the third annual Stoel Rives Idaho Innovation Awards Luncheon.
Nominees in these four categories will be honored and winners announced at the ceremony:
Innovator of the Year. Nominees are Timothy P. Barber, chief scientist, Keynetics Inc.; Bruce J. Bradley, CEO, Microbial-Vac Systems Inc.; and Frank L. VanderSloot, president and CEO, Melaleuca.
Innovative Company of the Year. Nominees are Keynetics Inc., Marketron Broadcast Solutions, and Melaleuca.
Innovation of the Year: Commercialized Technology. Nominees are Antibody Profiling Identification-AbP ID by Idaho National Laboratory, M-Vac System by Microbial-Vac Systems Inc., and Motion to Energy Power Generation by Idaho National Laboratory.
Innovation of the Year: Early-Stage Technology. Nominees are BookLamp.orgy by Novel Projects Inc., IMU Environmental Probe by Boise State University, and Kount E-Commerce Fraud-Control Technology by Kount Inc.
"This year's finalists represent the finest in innovative thinking and strategic direction taking place at the management and product development levels in Idaho," said Paul Boyd, Stoel Rives corporate attorney and chairman of the 2008 Idaho Innovation Awards program.
The luncheon will be noon to 1 p.m. Oct. 29 at the Boise Centre on The Grove. Register to attend by Wednesday at www.stoel.com/idahoinnovations.
