Hamlin Counseling & Coaching opened in August at 2537 W. State St., Suite 110, Boise. Nate Hamlin, LLC, will focus his practice on marital, couple and family counseling. He also teaches parent education classes, offers business coaching and specializes in couples counseling, sex therapy and working with teens.

"I chose counseling because of my own very positive experience in counseling and because I believe it is one of the best formats for dealing with the deeper issues of one's life," Hamlin said.

"I believe a person's inner life is a sacred space, and so I deeply honor and value this part of people. I enter into these areas of my clients for the purpose of helping them to begin to get their needs met in more constructive and satisfying ways."

Hamlin is offering a parent education class called Positive Discipline For Parents & Childcare Providers, running from Sept. 17 through Oct. 29. Cost is $125 per single, or $200 per couple. Registration and information forms can be obtained at www.natehamlin.com or by calling 908-4410 or 340-1925.

"Something that is very important for me is to help people to create practical solutions to their problems that they can begin to implement when they leave my office," Hamlin said. "I have a deep sensitivity to people's spirituality and welcome clients to incorporate that aspect of themselves into the counseling process."
