Anne McAlpin, whose travel advice, secrets and tips have made her a popular national media guest and friend to travelers everywhere, will conduct a Pack-It-Up workshop in Boise about how to travel and pack wisely this month, according to AAA Idaho.

The workshop will touch on ways to get around new airline charges for baggage weighing more than 50 pounds; shipping a box ahead to your destination; and what air travelers are allowed to carry on planes in the post 9/11 environment.

The workshop will be from10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Heritage Bible Church, directly behind the AAA offices at 7155 W. Denton St. Interested people can also visit McAlpin's Web site at www.packitup.com.
