JOB CHANGES

WHPacific Inc. has hired Lisa K. Vernon, PE, as operations manager for its Boise office.
A professional engineer with more than 21 years experience, Vernon has spent the past eight years in operations management and business development leadership positions within the architecture/engineering industry. She has managed signature bridges, structures and roadway projects throughout Idaho, Oregon and Washington, including Boise's East ParkCenter and West ParkCenter bridges, the Lake Creek Bridge on U.S. 95, Bronco Stadium at Boise State University and the Idaho Center in Nampa.
Vernon holds an master's degree in business from Boise State University and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Colorado State University. She is involved in professional organizations including the Institute of Transportation Engineers, Boise Chamber of Commerce Transportation Committee, Association of General Contractors, Structural Engineers Association of Idaho, American Society of Civil Engineers, Idaho Society of Professional Engineers, Boise Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boise Program, and was a charter member of the Treasure Valley Chapter of Women's Transportation Seminar.
Kurt R. Gustavel, president and chief operating officer of Idaho Independent Bank, has announced the appointment of Montse Burkhart as a real estate loan officer at the bank's Meridian branch. Burkhart has 22 years banking experience and seven years mortgage lending experience. She attended Boise State University before starting her banking career and is active in the Eagle Chamber of Commerce.
Primary Health Medical Group has announced the addition of Courtney Boehme, physician assistant, to its Urgent Care practice. Boehme will work in one of the group's nine Urgent Care clinics in the Treasure Valley. She has been stationed with the Washington Army National Guard as an aeromedical physician assistant in Kuwait for the past year. Before being deployed, she worked as a physician assistant in an emergency room in Madison, Wis.
Boise-based Primary Health Medical Group is a multi-specialty medical group that was created by physicians who have practiced in Idaho for more than 20 years.
GOOD DEEDS
The Idaho Foodbank has announced that the board of directors for the Idaho Community Foundation has approved a $2,000 grant to support the Foodbank's Mobile Pantry Program. The grant, provided through the Northern Region Greatest Need Fund, will support the food bank's efforts to deliver food directly to communities in need from its northern facility in Lewiston.
