San Jose State hires former Boise State athletic director Bleymaier
SAN JOSE, Calif. San Jose State has hired former Boise State athletic director Gene Bleymaier to run its athletic department. University President Mohammad Qayoumi announced Thursday that Bleymaier will replace Tom Bowen effective June 30. Bowen left to take over the department at Memphis.

Boise State tennis player falls at NCAA Championships
Senior Damian Hume, ranked No. 69, put a scare into No. 15 Alex Musialek of Kentucky in a first-round match in Athens, Ga. Hume won the first set 7-5, then dropped the next two sets 6-1, 6-2 to see his career end. Hume finished the season with a 31-7 record.

Boise State men’s basketball team adds forward from Serbia
