Miss Mary Jane is the alter-ego of Sara West, the owner of Capital City Events. The full-spectrum event and party-planning business serves the Boise, Sun Valley and Santa Fe, N.M., areas. Growing up in Santa Fe with an extended family filled with artists and cowboys, Sara learned early on how a great gathering can help build a sense of community. Today, as both a professional event planner and active community volunteer, Sara has experience with everything from coordinating the catering for large galas to managing fundraising events.
