The 20-year-old Meridian woman who died in a car crash near Mountain Home Tuesday was a junior at Idaho State University who wanted to become a nutritionist.
Megan Noel Bartley, 20, of Meridian, died in a crash that occurred while traffic was stopped on the highway for an investigation of a possible explosive device in a semi truck.
Her vehicle was struck by a 2001 Hyundai driven by Conner B. Moody, 17 of Kimberly.
No charges have been filed against Moody, according to Idaho State Police spokesman Rick Ohnsman. Idaho State Police is investigating the crash.
Elmore County Prosecutor Kristina Schindele was out of the office Thursday and could not be reached for comment on possible charges.
Bartley grew up in the Treasure Valley and graduated from Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School, according to an obituary that will be in Friday's Idaho Statesman.
The past four summers, she worked in the pharmacy at Walgreens at Cherry Lane and Ten Mile, and she volunteered more than 150 hours as a candy striper at Saint Luke's Boise Medical Center.
Bartley was engaged to marry John Foley on June 12, 2010.
A viewing will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday at Chapel of the Chimes Funeral Home. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Church of Christ, 1555 N. Linder Road in Meridian. A potluck dinner at the church will follow.
