A teen driver who ran into another high school student who was walking to school on the morning of Jan. 30 has been charged with felony leaving the scene of an accident.
The girl, whose name has not been released because she's a juvenile, pleaded guilty Thursday morning to the charge and began serving her sentence in detention.
The length of the sentence and the terms of probation were not specified in a press release from the Ada County prosecutor's office.
Deputy Prosecutor Jill Longhurst said she cannot discuss any details about the sentencing.
