An Eagle man received non-life-threatening injuries in an accident west of Rainier, Ore., Friday, which killed an Oregon woman, according to Oregon State Police.
About 6 p.m. Friday, a Pontiac Sunfire driven by Anna Urban, 27, of Clatskanie, Ore., was westbound on Highway 30 when her car crossed into the eastbound lane for unknown reasons and collided with a Mitsubishi Montero sport utility vehicle driven by James Aydelotte, 33, of Eagle.
After the collision, the Montero turned onto its side off the highway.
Urban was pronounced dead at the scene. She apparently was not wearing a seat belt, Oregon State Police reported.
Aydelotte, who was wearing a seat belt, was taken to St. John’s Medical Center in Kelso, Wash., for treatment.
OSP troopers from the St. Helens and Astoria offices are continuing the investigation.
